This is such a simple recipe, it's almost not a recipe at all.
I have been meaning to post it, but you know how life happens sometimes.
I made this for out of state company when they stopped for an evening of
fellowship on their way through our area in June.
It's delish - I cut the original recipe back to only 3 simple ingredients.
I saw the recipe at Recipes that Crock. Cris and Aunt Lou use Gooseberry Patch Cookbook recipes...that I love dearly. You can't go wrong using them.

Instead of using sweetened condensed milk and caramel topping, I simply tried (for the first time!) a can of the caramel sweetened condensed milk.
Yeh! I'm into skipping steps when possible. *=* The allspice is optional, but I think it added a nice flavor.
This is a great dish for a summer crowd and less messy than the real deal.
Enjoy it soon!! Not everyone can build a fire any time....
How fun to have the flavor of S'Mores all year around too.
CROCKPOT CARAMEL S'MORE FONDUE
1 can caramel sweetened condensed milk
(or 1 can regular sweetened condensed milk plus 1/4 c. caramel ice cream topping)
a couple sprinkles of ground allspice, optional
1 # melting chocolate, chopped
(I used the discs in a bag)
1/4 c. milk chocolate chips
Add all ingredients to crockpot; stir to combine. Cover, and cook on low for about 45 minutes to an hour, stirring occasionally until smooth.
Serve with graham crackers, fruit (fresh or dried), marshmallows or cookies.
We loved it with raspberries and strawberries.
