Healthy Pumpkin Pie Smoothie

Here's another yummy-licious recipe..and it just so happens this one comes from Debbi Does Dinner...Healthy and Low Calorie!

If you have 'leftover' pumpkin from making the pumpkin pie baked oatmeal recipe, (#2 post today) *-* then you can make this smoothie to enjoy alongside it, or just enjoy it as an afternoon pick me up.

Or for breakfast, or...anytime!

This is simple and easy...and best of all - healthy!

I simply doubled the ingredients (except for the banana) as the original recipe was 1 serving.

Try it - you'll like it.

PUMPKIN PIE SMOOTHIE

1/2 c. pumpkin puree
1 banana, sliced
1 c. 1% milk(or more?)
(use coconut or almond milk if you'd prefer)
1 scoop vanilla protein powder
2 Tb. dry oatmeal, optional
(you won't know it's there, but it's filling)
two or three dashes of pumpkin pie spice
2 tsp. honey
about 8 ice cubes

Throw everything into the blender and blend for a minute or two until smooth and frothy.

Enjoy every sip!!!
