OH HOW THANKFUL I AM TO LIVE IN THE LAND OF THE FREE!
Just wanted to share a picture I took a couple of years ago.
I had tea party for two of my granddaughters, Charlie & Chloe, and some of their friends.
This was in July of 2009, and our invitations invited their friends to an
"All-American Girls Tea Party".
We wore hats and enjoyed star shaped sandwiches served on star-spangled paper plates along with assorted homebaked cookies (the girls helped of course!) served in patriotic cupcake papers. And we enjoyed bubble gum tea.
This picture shows what they accomplished for their 'team work' project.
It has been published in our local newspaper.
Chloe is on the far left in the picture, Charlie is second to the right...
(It kills me to look at this to see how much they've grown in the last 3 years!!)
They pushed disposable cups through our chain link fence!
Didn't they do a FINE job!?
Our neighborhood enjoyed viewing it all summer long.
Just in case you missed my post a few days ago...maybe you'll want to try these wonderful Patriotic Berry Kebobs
