  9. Well my favorite winter soup WAS chunky chicken soup (on my blog-it's so healthy and so good) but I just ate the turkey version of it for five days straight for lunches last week and can't stand it any more (that will change by next winter though) so I'm going to pick another one. Definitely old-school chicken noodle soup with the homemade or Reames egg noodles, carrots, and celery.

  21. Growing up, I loved soups and chowders. Still do. My fondest memory is one that was made all year long.. for cold weather and for colds in general. My mom's Chicken noodle soup. It had egg noodles, spaetzle, potatoes, chicken, and lots of chili powder and pepper. So good!

  22. I was raised on soup and it is hard to pick one favorite. But if I sit and think about it, the soup that I loved the most was the "clean out the garden" soup. Nearing the fall season we would always make a huge pot of vegetable soup using the last veggies out of the garden. Yummy!! Thank you for the memories from the past.

  23. Hi Marsha, My favorite soup is my "freezer" soup. You save the little dabs of gravy, small pieces of leftover meats, little bits of veggies that aren't enough for a serving, etc. Put them in freezer containers. Keep adding to them. When you get 3 or 4 containers add some broth, a can of tomatoes and some seasoning. There you have "freezer" soup. Linda S.
